While viewing the Summer Selections exhibition at Woodward Gallery last week in Manhattan’s Lower East Side, Liz and I had the opportunity to chat with owner Kristine Woodward at GHOST, the bar extension of the gallery. On view is a four part panel by deCordova Lending Artist Kenji Nakayama! Kenji had a solo show at Woodward in May.
Also on view at GHOST is this charming image of Keith Haring’s studio.
A little hard to reproduce, the photograph invites the viewer to participate in a seldom seen vantage point of the late artist’s work space. One can now identify each piece as a different museum or private collection item.
Thank you Kristine Woodward, Jeremy Dine, Wendy Mink and the chocolate princess of the Lower East Side for your friendly welcome! We experienced some amazing exhibitions, pizza, and Herrera prints in the making!
